Eden Valley, as its name suggests, consists of a flat open area where the homestead is nestled and is surrounded by gentle sloping open fields. 90% of Eden Valley’s 1,426 acres is accessible including the entire perimeter. We have 1,100 acres of cleared productive land leaving plenty of room for additional plantings, or crops and future expansion.
Surrounding Environment
Eden Valley is surrounded predominately by native bushland. Our neighbors include another olive grove, a world class cattle stud farm and wheat growing areas. This ideal environment benefits any future plans for organic farming practices.
Soil Type
The preferred pH for olive trees is 7.0 - 8.0 and preferred soil type is sandy loam, loam and clay loam. Eden Valley’s soil types are sandy loam and clay loam with average pH of 7.5.
